Chemoprotector
UTL-5g is a small-molecule tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-a) inhibitor under development as a chemoprotetive agent. This project has received an SBIR Phase I grant and the proposed preclinical studies have been completed satisfactorily.
Radioprotector
The Company’s second project is to develop UTL-5g for its potential to reduce lung injury induced by radiation.
Natural Products
In addition to the leading projects, 21st CTI has several other promising projects. Furthermore, we have over 20,000 extracts from natural products (marine and plants) in stock for screening and we have identified over 100 preliminary leads for secondary screening as potential therapeutic agents.
